Headmaster’s Message

It is my great privilege to be the Head Master of St.Xavier’s High School, Nasik Road. I assumed office of the Head Master from 1st June 2017. Thanks to Rev. Fr Provincial, Rev.Fr.Trevor Miranda, Rector of the campus and Vice-chairperson of the school trust and Rev.Fr. Dionysius Lobo, Manager of the school, for considering me eligible for this post. This year I have completed twenty-five years of teaching in St. Xavier’s High School. Thanks to all my Ex- Principals and Ex-Managers for their valuable guidance and support. I consider the post of H.M as a broad scope to offer the best services to the students and society. For the all-round development of the child, internal and external peace is a must. There are many ways and means to achieve external peace, but for a student it could be achieved by attaining academic excellence. However, the biggest challenge is to achieve internal peace. External peace could be achieved by attaining academic excellence. In today’s cut-throat competitive world, students are under immense psychological pressure, ultimately suffering with a great fear of facing challenges. Internal peace thus, could be achieved only through spiritual practices and modest way of life. My attempts are to develop a great level of confidence in students to face all the challenges in life and to live life in a graceful manner. I am thankful to the Almighty for the co-operative parents and also the dedicated and devoted staff of the school. With the collaboration and co-operation of all, I am sure we can fulfill the motto of the school.
