A Xavierite’s Anthem

A Xavierite’s Anthem

We are the students of St. Xavier’s School,
We hail that name in shine and rain,
Our motto spells the golden rule,
Because of thirst returns the Crane.
As this fair bird that hour by hour
Its thirst slakes at the river’s marge,
So we at Xavier’s fountain bower,
Our knowledge daily shall enlarge.
Then let us all in chorus sing
The glory of the school we love
And let the hills and welkin ring
The joy of youth to God above.

Chorus

We are so happy to belong
To Xavier’s School of Nashik town.
With gladsome heart we’ll sing this song
Until the skies our voices drown.
With God and country as our goal
And scholarship our cherished aim
A sporting and an upright soul
Shall make us Indians in her name.
So come all, let’s our banner raise
With hearts intrepid to the core
And pledge in loyalty and praise
Our Alma Mater ever more.
